I recently discovered Attack Vector: Tactical while doing some reality-checking for a personal project at Atomic Rockets, and soon after discovered that it was apparently out of print. Luckily, I found a single used copy of the 1.5 ruleset for sale through Amazon.com (and I'm very glad to have acquired it). The set appears to be in relatively new condition - both the tilt and stacking blocks were in their original packaging - but, unfortunately, the previous owner appears to have registered the product. Is there any way of addressing this issue?

On a related note, the previous owner appears to have purchased the 1.0 ruleset and then upgraded to version 1.5. He/she provided three copies of each of the basic rulebooks; two copies of the 1.0 books and one copy of the 1.5 books (the product serial number is attached to the back of one of the 1.0 core rulebook). Distinguishing between the 1.0 and 1.5 copies of the core rulebook and the ship book is simple, but all three of the setting books are different from one another: one contains a complex system for determining in-system travel times using several tables, one contains a reference to those tables but not the tables themselves, and one contains a system based on differently-colored squares. Which of these is the newest version?

Thanks for any and all help!

Hi Joshua - email me the product serial number at design@adastragames.com and I'll look into who the original owner was, and whether or not it's easier to get you a new serial number or to release the old one.

The one with the references to the tables and without the tables themselves is, in fact, the most current setting book. One of the things we hope to do with the 2nd edition rules set is consolidate the two most recent versions together and make a complete setting book.
