Hello all,
I recently purchased AV:T and have had a chance to run a couple of the starter scenarios just to get a feel for how things work. Excellent game overall! This really hits the spot in the otherwise scarce "realistic space combat" area of gaming!

The rules book, and ship book 1 are fine as far as I can tell (including the errata for shipbook1) but one glaring item that jumped out at me was a large number of typographic errors in most of the pages of the Settings Book.

It seems capital letters at the beginning of many words are missing, as well as 'x'es and other letters within the bodies of words.

Column 1 of page 2 alone has several examples.
Here are a few, with the spaces in my copy replaced by _ for clarity:
Admiral Hei_er (m? n?)
_arin Louise Hostlicht (K)
Olympian _efense Forces
en route to _amso

Closer inspection of the rest of the settings book shows the typos are present pretty consistenly on almost every page, in either main body text or in sidebars.

Is my Settings Book the only one with these typos, or is this consistent for a certain group of people, or everyone? (i.e. different printing runs)

Is a corrected replacement Settings Book available, free or at a small additional fee plus shipping, preprinted or self-printable electronic?

Robert, a number of recent printings of the Setting Book had a postscript error that wasn't caught during assembly. You just described one of them.

Email me at design@adastragames.com about getting a replacement sent to you.

Fair warning - we may not be shipping the replacement until October, due to getting SITS off my neck.
