|Post subject:||Ok so...|
I hope this is the right place to post this. I've been looking around the forums, and trying to get a feel for the TW product line. I see there is a section for AV: Fleets, and it looks like there is some TW mention of ground forces combat, but I can't tell at what point in their lifecycles each of these products is, whether there is an (existing or planned) overarching "grand strategy" product to tie them together, etc.
Would you mind handing ut a little rant/essay on what the plans are for TW and where things stand now? Is Fleets coming out soon? What scale is it at? Is there a campaign game? What's going on with the ground game? Will they all tie together?
Sorry if all these answers are out there somewhere, my Forum-Fu seems weak today.

OK, product lines:
Definitely coming out
Ship Book 2 (coming as soon as we get some software debugged.)
Nexus Journal (Captain's Log style product for Ten Worlds.)
The outside designer who was working on this has vanished leaving us with something that can't be finished from what he gave us.
Ground Combat Games:
Much background material is being accumulated in search of a game engine.
High Trader is meant to be an accurate simulation of slinging spaceships through a solar system. In practice, it breaks when you use the mindboggling performance of AV:T cruise mode drives. We're working on an alternative for Ten Worlds stuff and it may eventually port over to High Trader.
Right now, the best thing to do is keep an eye out for Nexus Journal and Ship Book 2.
Eventually, we will have a set of games that link together - from interstellar fleet movement to maneuvering fleets to hit objectives in planetary systems, to AV:T, either in flat space or orbital combat (using the rules in NJ #1.)
