Ken,

I'm putting up a test post here, in anticipation of you setting up the tutorial test area.

Cheers,
Phil

I am waiting to see if a few more the Ad Astra regulars sign up for the BoP playtest before throwing things open. I've got 8 blind testers; I'm hoping for 10-12; announcement went out on Thursday of last week.

Phil, if there are any further revisions you've got for the tutorial materials, please advise; you may still have a short window to make last minute changes.

The 20 bucks are otw via PayPal from Switzerland... I hope the playing material arrives in time so I can participate in the first installment.

Looking forward to some modern age 3d dogfighting! :D

It cannot be worse than Air War, one of the few games I own that was harder to play than its contemporary version of Starfleet Battles. I may even have been having fun. Once I saw Air Superiority, I could not bring myself to play Air War, ever again. Speed of Heat is Air Superiority without all-angle air-to-air missiles, but with a lot more polish.

Just having tilt blocks and level markers will bring a new wrinkle to the genre. With a bit of luck, I may be able to show it off to some professional airline pilots.
