The main offices for Ad Astra Games are on Fletcher Avenue in Waterloo.

Waterloo has experienced a fair bit of flooding from last night, with more rain on the way.

So far, none of the flood crests have been high enough that the Army Corps of Engineers have had to release the Fletcher Ave. Spillway. However, all bridges over the Cedar River in Waterloo and Cedar Falls are currently under water.

We did sandbag, and we're on the "high" side of Fletcher Ave, but we're all watching the weather reports carefully.

The office is closed today, and is likely closed through Thursday.

Here's video from a spot about 6 blocks away from the office:

My DSL internet connection is out at home, so I won't be posting much today.

Everyone in the company is fine, water is receding through Waterloo.

We dodged a bullet.

We have some seepage from one corner of one wall in one room; it cost us some file boxes and some blank paper for the printer. The air in the office is a bit moist, we've got dehumidifiers running to make sure mold and other opportunistic bits don't get uppity.
